Vinay Shelke

Vinay Vijay Shelake, born on August 26, 2001, is a promising kabaddi player from Valwa, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. Hailing from a farming family, Vinay is the son of Vijay Shelake and Vandana Vijay Shelake, who have always supported his sporting endeavors. With two elder brothers, Vivek Vijay Shelake and Vinit Vijay Shelake, though not into kabaddi themselves, they have been a constant source of encouragement for Vinay. His journey in kabaddi began at the age of 10 during his school days, where he discovered his knack for the game. Specializing as a left corner defender, Vinay is known for his resilience and impeccable die moves on the mat. Under the mentorship of coach Vaibhav Patil at Shivaji Vayam Mandal Walva, Vinay continues to refine his skills and techniques. Inspired by the bonus prowess of Akash Shinde, Vinay aims to incorporate similar strategies into his gameplay. Despite not having any representations yet, Vinay remains determined to excel in the sport. Alongside pursuing his college graduation degree in TY BA, Vinay harbors aspirations of serving his nation by becoming a police officer in the future.
