Ajay Rathod

Ajay Bharat Rathod, born on May 16, 2003, hails from Manta, Jalna, Maharashtra, and currently resides in the same locality. His father, Bharat Rathod, and mother, Kamal, both earn their livelihood through farming. Ajay has a younger brother named Yuvraj, who does not partake in kabaddi. Ajay's journey in kabaddi commenced at the tender age of 9, driven by his innate passion for the sport. As an All Rounder proficient in both the Right Corner and Right Raider positions, Ajay possesses a keen understanding of the game's intricacies. His prowess lies in executing precise "Bonus" maneuvers, showcasing his agility and strategic acumen on the mat. Under the guidance of coach Panjabrao Wagh, Ajay hones his skills at Krida Sankulan in Jalna, dedicating himself to relentless practice and improvement. He draws inspiration from Pankaj Mohite, renowned for his speed and adeptness in securing bonus points during raids. Despite being in his first tournament experience, Ajay has already left a mark in the local kabaddi circuit. His recent triumph in the Buldana Local Tournament, where his team emerged victorious in the finals, underscores his potential and determination. Currently pursuing his second year of D. Pharmacy diploma, Ajay aspires to compete in prestigious events such as the Yuva Kabaddi Series and ultimately aims to grace the Pro Kabaddi League stage, where he can showcase his talent on a national platform.
