Aryan Kardekar

Aaryan Sujith Kardekar, born on May 2, 2003, in Dapoli, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, is a dedicated kabaddi player with a passion for the sport that has been nurtured since his early years. Hailing from a farming family, Aaryan draws inspiration from his father, Sujit Kardekar, and his mother, Shalaka Kardekar, who have instilled in him a strong work ethic and determination. Aaryan's journey in kabaddi began in the 8th grade when he joined a local kabaddi team in his village. Surrounded by enthusiasts in his community, Aaryan was captivated by the game and soon discovered his talent as an All-Rounder, adept at playing in the Left Corner and as a Right Raider. His exceptional skill lies in executing the Ankle Hold technique, which has earned him recognition on the kabaddi field. Under the guidance of his coaches Bhushan Weldulkar, Bhushan Kulkarni, and Vipul Surve, Aaryan has honed his abilities at the Jai Semma mata Krida Mandal in Dapoli. He draws motivation from his favorite player, Rajesh Narwal, an Indian kabaddi player known for his impeccable raiding skills and fitness level. Aaryan's career highlights include his standout performance in a senior-level match in Dapoli, where he represented his hometown against Ladgar. This memorable match marked Aaryan's debut as a senior player, and his outstanding performance earned him the title of the Best Player of the Match. Beyond kabaddi, Aaryan also enjoys playing cricket and is currently pursuing his college graduation degree in BSc.
