Rakhi Tanwar, born on January 8, 2005, to Shersingh (a Transport Businessman) and Lalita Devi (a Homemaker), is leaving her mark as a formidable Right Raider for the Aravalli Arrows. Rakhi comes from a close-knit family, with an elder sister and an elder brother. Interestingly, her brother is actively involved in kabaddi, creating a unique sporting bond within the family. At the age of 17, Rakhi embarked on her kabaddi journey, specializing in the role of a Right Raider. Known for her exceptional jumping skills, she credits her coaches Rahul Tanwar, Sube Singh, and Sohan Singh for honing her talents. The practice grounds at Chaughan Stadium in Jaipur witness Rakhi's dedication and determination to elevate her game. Sachin Tanwar, a cousin and renowned kabaddi player, holds a special place in Rakhi's heart. Inspired by his Hand Touch technique, Sachin serves as a role model for Rakhi's aspirations. While excelling in kabaddi, Rakhi also enjoys playing volleyball, showcasing her diverse sporting interests. Currently pursuing her education up to the 12th standard, she balances her academic commitments with her passion for kabaddi. Rakhi's career highlights include her participation in the Junior Nationals in Hyderabad (2023-24). As she dons the jersey for Aravalli Arrows in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series, Rakhi Tanwar's future aspirations echo loudly – she dreams of representing Team India on the international stage.
