Nikita Ranbir

Nikita, born on May 30, 2003, in Khatkar, Jind, Haryana, is a skilled kabaddi player representing "Panchala Pride" in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024. She currently resides at SS Academy, Chawla, Delhi NCR (UT). Nikita's father, Shri Ranbir, is a farmer, and her mother, SMT Lakhpati, is a housewife. She has one elder sister, Jyoti, and one younger brother, Amandeep. Nikita started playing kabaddi due to her interest in the sport, influenced by local circle kabaddi games in her area. Her passion grew when she learned that her school's Physical Education lecturer, who was an NIS Kabaddi coach, supported her desire to play. With his backing, she initiated the formation of a kabaddi team in her school. Her original playing position is Right Raider, and her best skill is the cover hand touch. Nikita has been coached by Dharamraj Kandola (1st coach), Sudhir Khatkar (2nd coach), and her current coach, Sangeeta, at SS Academy. As for her favorite player, Nikita admires Aslam Inamdar for his unique game skills. Nikita has represented her school, college, district, state, and participated in national-level competitions, including university games. One of her career highlights is from the Junior District final match in 2021, held in Uchana, Jind, against Baroda Jind. Playing for Khatkar, she secured an impressive 12 raid points. Looking ahead, Nikita aspires to play for the Indian national kabaddi team, showcasing her dedication and ambition in the sport.
