Sunaina, born on July 24, 2004, in Khatkar, Jind, is a skilled kabaddi player representing "Panchala Pride" in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024. She currently resides at the SS Academy in Chawla, Haryana. Sunaina's father, Jagdish, works as a farmer, and her mother, Dholi, is a housewife. She has one younger brother named Anup. Sunaina began playing kabaddi in the 8th grade. Her interest was sparked when she witnessed her senior, Priya, being honored for playing U-17 school nationals. Additionally, watching the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) further fueled her passion for the sport. She primarily plays in the position of Right Corner Defender and excels in the dive, as well as executing single and double thigh holds. Sunaina has been coached by Dharamraj, Deepakpal Motu, and currently, Sangeeta at the SS Academy in Chawla, Delhi. Ravindra Pehal from the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is Sunaina's favorite kabaddi player. She admires his proficiency in executing the double thigh hold. Sunaina has represented her school, college, district, and state in kabaddi competitions. One of her career highlights includes participating in the Junior Nationals in 2024 held in Hyderabad. In a quarter-final match against Goa while playing for Chandigarh, she took six catches, showcasing her defensive prowess. Looking ahead, Sunaina aspires to play for the Indian national kabaddi team, showcasing her ambition and dedication to the sport.
