Aneesh Gajendran

Aneesh, born on July 11, 2000, in Kondur, Cuddalore. His father, Gajendiran, works as a bus driver, while his mother, Deepa, manages the household. Aneesh has two brothers, Abinesh, the elder one, and Tamizh, the younger one. Starting his kabaddi journey at the age of 15, Aneesh primarily operates as a Right Corner Defender, specializing in techniques such as the Ankle Hold. Under the mentorship of Coach Nagaraj, he hones his skills at Friends Kabaddi Club in Kondur. Aneesh admires players like Pawan Sehrawat and Ravinder Pahal for their exceptional abilities, particularly Sehrawat's jumping prowess and Pahal's thigh hold technique. Aneesh has completed his graduation in BSc. Physics. His achievements include representing Thiruvalluvar University in the University South Zone tournaments of 2021 and 2022, as well as representing Annamalai University in 2023. Aneesh harbors ambitions of competing in the Pro Kabaddi League and securing a job in the Railways, showcasing his dedication to both his sport and his future career.
