Born on June 30, 2004, in the charming village of Libberheri, Uttarakhand, this young kabaddi player has a story that's deeply rooted in his community. Raised by his mother, Birashla Devi, a homemaker, and his late father, Subhash Singh, he learnt the values of hard work and determination early on. Growing up with his elder brother, Ashish, sports became a significant part of his life as he discovered kabaddi in 2016, a game that felt like a natural fit—“Mitti se mila hua khel,” as he lovingly describes it. Having trained under the guidance of Dimple, his coach from the village, he now practices diligently at the Uttarakhand Kabaddi Academy. The left corner defender is particularly skilled in the running chain tackle, a technique he has mastered and enjoys. His idol, Maninder Singh from Bengal Warriors, inspires him, not just for his gameplay but also for his exemplary personality. Recently, he showcased his talent during the Sahiya Valley Tournament in 2024, where he famously tackled Pawan Sehrawat three times—a proud moment that highlighted his potential. With aspirations to play in the Pro Kabaddi League and secure a government job, he continues to strive for greatness in both kabaddi and life.
