Dinesh Kumar Krishnamoorthi

K Dinesh Kumar was born on February 25, 2001, in Gobichettipalayam, Erode, Tamil Nadu. He currently resides in Kaviandapadi, Erode. His father, Krishnamoorthi R, works as a Coolie, while his mother, Velumani K, is a Housewife. Dinesh has a younger brother named Manoharan. He started playing kabaddi at a young age, in the 4th standard, and developed a deeper understanding of the game during his 10th standard. It was in college that his coach explained the importance of kabaddi, and he started taking the sport seriously. His uncle has been a significant source of support throughout his kabaddi journey. Dinesh's preferred playing position is Left - Right Raider, and his best skill on the field is the Toetouch. He practices at Anbuthambi P Mettupalayam and admires PKL player Suresh Kumar. Besides kabaddi, Dinesh enjoys playing football and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Physical Education (First Year) degree. His career highlight includes leading his team to victory in a crucial match against Trichy, where he scored crucial points in the last minutes. With aspirations to play for the PKL and secure a government job in the future, Dinesh is determined to excel in both sports and academics.
