"Ved Patil, born on January 15, 2003, in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, is a promising Kabaddi player representing Ratnagiri District in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Hailing from Ratnagiri, Ved's family includes his father, Pramod Patil, who serves as a bank employee, and his mother, Pratidnya Patil, dedicated to homemaking. Ved shares a close bond with his elder sister, Tanvi Patil, although she doesn't actively participate in Kabaddi. Ved's tryst with Kabaddi began at the tender age of 7, with his original playing position as a Left Raider. Renowned for his prowess in stealing bonus points during matches, Ved's skills have been nurtured under the guidance of his uncle, Pranil Todanakar. Inspired by the achievements of Nitin Madne, a Chattrapati Awardee from Maharashtra, Ved admires Madne's ability to swiftly steal bonus points and exhibit quick reflexes on the Kabaddi mat. Ved's Kabaddi career highlights include representing Maharashtra in the Junior National Championship in 2023 and scoring a remarkable super raid, garnering 4 points, in the previous KMP tournament.
