Harsh Meher

Harsh Sadashiv Meher, born on January 24, 2005, in Vasai Palghar, Maharashtra, is an aspiring kabaddi player representing Palghar in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Coming from a farming family, Harsh developed a passion for kabaddi during his school days, starting at the age of 14. He specializes as a Left Corner Defender, known for his exceptional Ankle Hold technique. Under the guidance of coaches Roshan Vatiy and Vishal Patil at Aai Ashtabhuja Mata Prathishta Vasai, Harsh honed his skills, earning recognition as the best defender with a gold medal at the district level competition in Thane in 2023. Beyond kabaddi, Harsh enjoys cricket and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree. With aspirations to represent India, he draws inspiration from kabaddi legend Anup Kumar, admiring his leadership and stability on the field.
