Om Patil

Om Ashok Patil, born on June 21, 2004, in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, currently resides in Palghar. Raised in a family with a farming background, Om is the son of Ashok Patil, a farmer, and Archana Ashok Patil, who works as a teacher. Despite not having siblings, Om's family provides unwavering support for his kabaddi endeavors. Om's journey in kabaddi commenced during his school years at the age of 15, where he discovered his knack for the sport. As a left raider, he specializes in executing swift running kicks on the mat, earning him recognition for his agility and speed. Under the guidance of coach Vishal Patil at the Village Ground, Om continues to refine his skills and strategies. Inspired by the speed and agility of Aslam Inamdar, Om admires him for his prowess on the kabaddi field. Despite his young age, Om has already represented at the Junior State level in 2023 and has showcased his talents in various matches. Alongside pursuing his college graduation degree in FY BSC, Om nurtures aspirations of competing in the prestigious Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) in the future. With his dedication, determination, and passion for the sport, Om Ashok Patil is poised to make significant strides in the world of kabaddi.
