Sahil Chhoker was born on January 10, 2003, in the lively city of Panipat, Haryana, where he continues to nurture his dreams. He grew up in a loving family with his father, Bijender, a devoted farmer, and his mother, Munesh, who skillfully managed their home. From a young age, Sahil absorbed the lessons of hard work and perseverance from his parents. His elder brother played a pivotal role in his life, introducing him to the world of kabaddi when he turned 18, igniting a passion that would shape his future. Sahil’s training began under the watchful eye of coach Parveen Kumar in their quaint village of Suatana. It was here that he developed his prowess as a Right Corner defender, mastering the art of the double thigh hold, his signature move. Inspired by players like Neeraj Kumar, Sahil admires their defensive skills and strives to emulate them in his own game. In 2022, he proudly represented the Murthal Magnets in the Yuva Kabaddi Series Winter Edition and shined at the Junior State level in Panipat, clinching a gold medal. As he pursues a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Sahil dreams of one day wearing the national jersey and making his mark on Indian kabaddi. His dedication is unwavering, and the journey ahead looks bright for this aspiring athlete.
