Born on May 25, 2004, in the serene town of Nalagarh, Solan in Himachal Pradesh, this young kabaddi enthusiast has already made quite a mark in the sport. Growing up in a close-knit family with one elder brother and sister, he was inspired to take up kabaddi at just 13 years old while watching his brother play. His father, Narender Kumar, may no longer be with them, but the values he instilled, combined with the support of his mother, Deviendra Kumari, a dedicated government worker, have shaped his journey. Training under the guidance of his coach, Sanjeev Thakur, he practices at the Khelo India Centre in Rajpura. He’s made a name for himself as a left raider, showcasing his favorite skill, the Dubki, while having a special fondness for the Bonus skill. One of his proudest achievements so far has been participating in the Khelo India Youth Games in 2022, representing Himachal Pradesh. With aspirations to play in the Pro Kabaddi League one day, he draws inspiration from his favorite player, Nitin Tomar, known for his Hand Touch. He is determined and enthusiastic, embodying the spirit of sport not just in kabaddi but also loving cricket and volleyball when time permits.
