Lovepreet Singh was born on July 20, 2003, in the charming town of Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh. Growing up in a supportive family, with his father, Sri. Avatar Singh, working in the private sector and his mother, Smt. Maninder Kaur, as a dedicated homemaker, Lovepreet found inspiration from his elder brother, who also played kabaddi. This familial connection ignited his passion for the sport. He started playing at a young age, around Class Seven, and has never looked back since. His journey in kabaddi has been marked by determination and growth. Lovepreet plays as a Left Corner Defender and has developed impressive skills, particularly in blocking opponents and executing ankle holds. He trains diligently at the SAI Hostel in Gandhinagar under the guidance of coaches Jaipal, Pankaj, Anil, Pramod, and currently, Jaiveer. Participating in tournaments such as the Khelo India, where he proudly secured a gold medal for Himachal Pradesh, has been a highlight for him. With a heart set on greatness, Lovepreet dreams of representing Team India and making a name for himself in the Pro Kabaddi League. Inspired by his favorite player, Ajay Thakur, he brings enthusiasm not only to kabaddi but also enjoys playing volleyball and cricket in his leisure time. As a current undergraduate student, he knows there's much more to achieve, but he is ready to embrace every challenge that comes his way.
