Born on December 12, 1993, in the quaint town of Dharoli, Jind, Haryana, Renu emerges as a trailblazer in the world of kabaddi. Currently donning the jersey for the Aravalli Arrows in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024, Renu has transitioned from her farming roots to serve as a Lady Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Rajasthan Police. Her journey has led her to the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, where she currently resides. Renu's entry into the world of kabaddi commenced at the age of 20, reflecting a determination to carve a niche for herself in the sport. Starting with circle style kabaddi, she later recognized the potential in National style kabaddi and shifted her focus. Notably, Renu holds the distinction of being the first Lady SI from her village, breaking barriers and setting new standards. As a Left Raider, Renu's prowess lies in the art of the Hand Touch, showcasing her agility and strategic acumen on the kabaddi mat. Under the guidance of her coaches Krishan from Dharoli and Shalini Pathak, who serves as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP) and a coach in Rajasthan Police, Renu hones her skills at the Vidhadhar Nagar Stadium (VDN) in Jaipur. Renu's list of representations spans across various levels, including college, district, state, and national competitions. She clinched the Bronze in the Nationals of 2021, followed by another Bronze in the National Games of 2022. The year 2023 brought her a Gold in the All India Police Games, contributing to the legacy of her team's success. Notably, her career highlight was the Nationals in 2021 against Punjab, where Renu's stellar performance earned her a Super 10, leading her team to the final and ultimately securing a historic Bronze after 72 years.
