Yasmeen Banu, born on April 2, 2002, in Delhi, is a talented kabaddi player representing "Panchala Pride" in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024. She currently resides in Delhi, NCR (UT). Yasmeen's father, Md Aslam, works as a shopkeeper, and her mother, Begum Chain Bano, is a homemaker. She has one younger brother and one younger sister, both of whom do not play kabaddi. Yasmeen started playing kabaddi at the age of 13 and plays as a Left Cover Defender. Her best skill on the kabaddi mat is executing a strong block. She is coached by Satyawanti at the Dichaon Sports Club in Delhi. Jyoti Thakur is Yasmeen Banu's favorite kabaddi player. She admires Jyoti Thakur for her versatile skills, excelling both as a defender and a raider for Team India. Yasmeen has represented her college, district, state, and participated in national-level and university-level kabaddi competitions. One of her notable career highlights includes winning the first place in the Inter University West Zone, held in Amravati in 2022. In terms of her education, Yasmeen is pursuing a college graduation degree in BPED (Bachelor of Physical Education), currently in the first year. Her future aspirations include becoming a teacher, coaching kabaddi, and ultimately becoming a lecturer. Yasmeen's passion for kabaddi is coupled with a desire to share her knowledge and skills with future generations.
