Meet Udit Kumar, a passionate kabaddi player born on August 18, 2002, in the beautiful state of Uttarakhand. Growing up in Libberheri, Udit was inspired by his uncle, who encouraged him to start his kabaddi journey at the age of sixteen. With a supportive family, including his farmer father, Sudhir Kumar, and homemaker mother, Baby, Udit found his love for the sport blossoming. Training at the Uttarakhand Kabaddi Academy, Udit has been shaped by the guidance of coaches Ravi and Gaurav. His remarkable skill as an all-rounder shines through in matches, particularly with his favorite technique—the back kick. Udit admires players like Pardeep Narwal, whose signature move, the dubki, inspires him to turn games around for his team. Udit has participated in various tournaments, making quite a mark in Junior and Senior National competitions for Uttarakhand. He was thrilled to represent the Tadoba Tigers and the Himalayan Tahrs during the YKS tournaments. With ambitions of securing a job in the Uttarakhand Police, Udit balances his sports and education well, having graduated from college. As he continues to hone his skills, the future looks bright for this dedicated young athlete.
