Sahil, a spirited young player, was born on April 20, 2004, in the quaint village of Sutana, Panipat, Haryana. Life changed for him when he lost his father, Krishan Lal, leaving his mother, Darshan Devi, as his guiding light. Growing up with his elder siblings, Punit Kumar and Pinki Devi, Sahil found a strong support system that encouraged him to pursue his passions. At just 15, Sahil discovered his love for kabaddi while watching local players displaying their agility and skills. This sparked his ambition to join their ranks. Training under the watchful eye of his coach, Parveen Tanwar, Sahil focused on becoming a Left Corner Defender, learning crucial techniques like the Ankle Hold and Thigh Hold. His dedication paid off when he secured first place in the Junior State Tournament in 2022, a moment that filled him with pride and motivation. Inspired by his favorite player, Mohmmed Rezza Shadloui, Sahil dreams of making a mark in the Pro Kabaddi League. Alongside his aspirations in sports, he is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Commerce, hoping to secure a job with the Railways. With his heart set on the mat and his studies, Sahil represents the spirit of determination and resilience from his little village.
