Meet Sachin, a passionate kabaddi player hailing from the picturesque city of Panaji in Goa. Born on June 19, 2005, he has always been deeply rooted in his hometown, where he began nurturing his love for kabaddi at the tender age of 15. With a family that values hard work—his father Krishna is a laborer and his mother Sushil Devi is a dedicated housewife—Sachin learned the importance of perseverance early on. He shares this journey with his elder siblings, Vikas and Sujata, who have supported him from the sidelines. Sachin proudly represents the Right Corner Defender position and has developed an impressive skill set, particularly excelling in ankle holds and the double thigh hold. He trains diligently under the guidance of Coach Sombir at the Panaji Sports Club, steadily honing his craft. His remarkable journey in kabaddi reached a significant milestone when he and his team earned a Bronze medal at the Junior National Championship in Goa in 2023. Beyond kabaddi, Sachin enjoys cricket and looks up to Sandeep Narwal, drawing inspiration from his gameplay. With aspirations to play for the Haryana Steelers in the Pro Kabaddi League, he dreams big. Balancing his passion, he works as a waiter in a hotel while navigating his educational journey, having completed up to the 12th standard. Sachin is determined to take his kabaddi dreams to new heights!
