Prianshu

Prianshu, born on March 15, 2006, in Sonipat, Haryana, is a bright new star in the world of kabaddi. Currently living in the beautiful state of Goa, he is the youngest of three brothers, and his journey into the sport began when he was just 15 years old. Watching his older brother, Prateek, who served in the army, play kabaddi ignited a spark in him. It was during his school’s physical training periods, where kabaddi was the only sport offered, that Prianshu honed his passion and skills. He now proudly plays as a Left Corner Defender, earning a reputation for his exceptional ankle hold technique. His dedication has led him to train at the Khelo India Centre in Goa, where he has made significant strides in his game. Recently, Prianshu celebrated a remarkable achievement, winning a gold medal at the Khelo India Youth Games 2024 and a bronze at the Junior Nationals 2024 in Hyderabad. One of his standout moments was scoring three super tackles in a pivotal match, showcasing his decisive impact on the team. Inspired by his favorite player, Nitin Rawal, Prianshu dreams of stepping onto the Pro Kabaddi League stage soon. With the support of his family, especially his father, Balraj, a farmer, and his mother, Sudesh, a homemaker, he is determined to turn his kabaddi aspirations into reality while continuing his education in the twelfth standard. Aside from kabaddi, he enjoys playing cricket for fun, but the sport that truly captures his heart remains kabaddi.
