Sanchit Sandip Tank, born on June 3, 2005, in the vibrant town of Paratwada Amrawati, Maharashtra, is a rising star in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a supportive household with his mother, Deepali, a dedicated homemaker, and his father, Sandip, Sanchit discovered his passion for kabaddi at the young age of 13 while playing at school. His journey into this captivating sport has been nothing short of exciting. Currently, Sanchit showcases his skills as a Right Cover Defender for the Tadoba Tigers, representing Vidarbha. He practices diligently at Sai Sports Vidarbha under the guidance of his coach, Sanjeet Dafde. Known for his best skill, the chain tackle, Sanchit also admires fellow player Abinesh Nadarajan, particularly for his ability to block and strategize on the mat. Sanchit's achievements include a proud moment when he played at the national level in Hyderabad in 2024, leading his team to victory – a highlight that still fills him with pride. As he continues his education in an Undergraduate course in Information Technology, he dreams of one day competing in the Pro Kabaddi League, where he hopes to shine and inspire others in the sport he loves.
