Subham Deshwal, born on February 1, 2007, in Tiki Qaidi, Haridwar, has always been a spirited individual, dreaming big while coming from a close-knit family. Growing up in Uttarakhand, he was deeply influenced by his father, Tejveer Singh, a retired army personnel, who instilled in him a passion for sports, particularly kabaddi. As a young boy, Subham got his first taste of this exhilarating sport at the age of twelve. He has honed his skills at the Uttarakhand Kabaddi Academy under the watchful guidance of his dedicated coaches, Gaurav and Ravi Lohan. For the past four years, their mentorship has played a pivotal role in his development as a left raider, where he excels in bonus points and jumping techniques. Subham draws inspiration from his favorite players, Rohit Kumar and Nitin Tomar, admiring their unique skills and game strategies. Currently pursuing his education up to the twelfth standard, Subham dreams of representing India on bigger platforms and competing in the Pro Kabaddi League. He hopes to make his parents proud by achieving great heights in kabaddi and securing a job in the Railways. With a love for cricket and volleyball as well, his journey has just begun, and we can’t wait to see where his passion takes him next!
