Nirmal Miree

In the lively village of Santhinagar in Raipur, Nirmal Miree, affectionately known as Miree, was born on September 12, 2003. From a young age, he was immersed in the joys of kabaddi, thanks to his family's deep-rooted appreciation for the sport. Initially enchanted by cricket, it was the excitement of local kabaddi tournaments that captured his heart. At just 15, he made a pivotal choice to devote himself to kabaddi, hoping to carve out a successful path like his older brother Hingant. Miree's journey has had its share of hardships. He faced the heartbreaking loss of his father, Late Kesarilal Miree, an event that profoundly affected him and his family. With two elder brothers and a sister, he draws inspiration from them, particularly Hemant Miree, who coaches him. The dedication and resilience that followed the loss of his father fuel Miree's resolve to succeed in the game. Training frequently near his home, Miree excels as an all-rounder, showcasing his exceptional escape skills and agility in jumping. While he has yet to step into major tournaments, his performances in village contests have already set him apart. With dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and representing India, Miree remains driven. Inspired by his favorite player, Durgesh Neta, who also hails from Chhattisgarh, he aims for greatness while cherishing the hopes of uplifting his family's future. His journey is just getting started, but with such intense passion and dedication, there's no doubt that Miree is destined for remarkable achievements in kabaddi.
