Meet Vansh Rathi, a spirited young kabaddi player hailing from the charming village of Narsan Kalan in the Haridwar District of Uttarakhand. Born on July 12, 2005, he was raised in a humble family, with his father Karan Pal working as a farmer and shop owner, while his mother Neelam focuses on managing their household. Vansh is an only child, which makes his parents’ support even more meaningful in his life. Vansh discovered his passion for kabaddi at the age of 14, trained by his coach Ravit Malik, who inspired him with unparalleled enthusiasm. He quickly honed his skills, specializing as a Left Corner Defender, and particularly excels in the Back Hold and Diving skills. Every session at the UK Academy in Haridwar felt like stepping closer to his dreams. His admiration for former Indian team player Manjeet Chhillar, an Arjuna Awardee, highlights his desire for leadership and excellence on the mat. With notable contributions in local tournaments as a best defender, Vansh is now aiming to represent India in the Asian Games and bring home a gold medal. As he juggles his kabaddi aspirations with pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, the journey ahead looks promising for this dedicated player.
