Rahul Kumar

Rahul Kumar was born on July 14, 2003, in the peaceful village of Sothi, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Growing up in a tight-knit family, he found inspiration in the everyday lives of his parents. His father, Mangal Ram, manages a tent business, while his mother, Geeta Bai, dedicates herself to cooking for the Mid Day Meal school program. With an elder sister, Neha, who is studying, and an elder brother, Manoj, who works as a sound engineer, Rahul thrives in an environment brimming with ambition and support. At the tender age of 12, Rahul discovered his passion for Kabaddi while playing with friends. The game quickly captured his heart, and under the mentorship of his senior, Ram Prasad, he developed his skills, especially mastering the toe touch, which has become his favorite move on the field. In 2023, Rahul proudly represented the Bilaspur team at the Senior State Championship, marking a significant milestone in his budding career. He dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and wearing the national jersey one day. Inspired by his favorite player, Naveen Kumar, he relentlessly practices on the school ground in his village, eager to make a mark in the kabaddi world.
