Born on January 25, 2005, in the serene village of Medha, nestled in the picturesque Rajnangauw region of Chhattisgarh, Manish’s journey into kabaddi began at a tender age of nine. Growing up in a family connected to farming, largely influenced by his mother, Chitrarekhabhai, he discovered the thrill of the sport that would become his passion. Currently in the Eleventh Standard, Manish has been diligently training at the Veer Shivaji Kabaddi Club in Bilaspur, where his coach, Manish Yadav, has guided him in developing his skills. Playing as a Left Cover Defender, he excels at the Thigh Hold and Double Thigh Hold, with his favorite move being the Dash. He finds inspiration in players like Arjun Deshwal, admiring their diverse skill sets and looking to incorporate that versatility into his own gameplay. Despite the challenges he faced during the Junior Nationals in 2024, where his team reached the quarter-finals, Manish remains resolute in his ambitions. Beyond kabaddi, he dreams of serving his country as a soldier in the Indian Army. Supported by his elder brother, Sekhar, Manish’s unwavering spirit and dedication paint a bright future for this talented Chhattisgarh native.
