Himanshu Narwal is a rising star from the serene village of Rindhana in Sonipat, Haryana. Born on November 14, 2002, he grew up in a supportive family, with his father, Surajmal, working hard as a farmer and his mother, Sunita, managing the home. Growing up alongside his elder brother, Ajay, Himanshu discovered his love for kabaddi at the age of 16, ignited by the vibrant traditions of his state and the tales of local legends. Training under coach Paramjit Narwal at the Baru Ram Stadium, Himanshu quickly developed into a skilled left raider. He’s particularly renowned for his hand touch move, which has become his trademark in matches. Along the way, he has participated in significant tournaments like the Yuva Kabaddi Series and the Khelo India University Games, where he proudly secured a gold medal in 2023. While Himanshu enjoys playing volleyball, kabaddi is where his passion truly lies. He admires Rakesh Narwal for his abilities and values their friendship. Ambitious and driven, Himanshu aims to represent India on the international stage and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in his second year.
