Alok Kumar was born on June 5, 2000, in the lively town of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Growing up in a bustling household with three older sisters and two brothers, he quickly learned the importance of teamwork and dedication. His father, Chetram Singh, toils as a farmer, while his mother, Bhagavati Devi, lovingly manages the home. These family values have shaped Alok into the determined athlete he is today. At the age of 15, during his second year of high school, Alok discovered his love for kabaddi. A senior classmate, Ankur Kumar, who had started making waves in the sport, inspired him to pursue his dreams in kabaddi. Since then, he has dedicated himself to training at JD Academy in Greater Noida, focusing on sharpening his skills with a particular flair for the back hold technique. Under the guidance of his coach Jitendar Nagar, Alok has made significant progress and continues to strive for improvement. With his eyes set on the Pro Kabaddi League, Alok hopes to secure a stable job with either the Railways or the UP Police. His aspiration is to inspire others in the same way he was inspired by Ankur, proving that with hard work and passion, dreams can turn into reality.
