Vinod Thakur, born on February 1, 2005, in the vibrant town of Makanpur, Uttar Pradesh, is a promising kabaddi player on an inspiring journey. Growing up in a farming family, he benefited from the support of his father, Satpal Singh, and his mother, Omwati Devi. It was at the age of eleven that Vinod discovered his love for kabaddi, captivated by the game's energy and excitement. His elder brother, Arjun Thakur, is a great source of inspiration, and he strives to follow in the footsteps of successful players. Vinod trains diligently under the watchful eye of coach Jitendar Nagar at JD Academy in Greater Noida. As a Right Corner Defender, he finds his strength in blocking, which is his favorite skill.
