Day 3 of the survival round at Velammal Yuva Kabaddi Series Tamil Nadu Clubs 2024 saw interesting results. The morning began with Karpagam Univeristy maintaining its dominating streak with a win against KR Sports. Karpagam Univeristy’s S Balamurgan and Sakthivel Thangavelu emerged as the best performers of the day. VELS University were handed their first defeat. They lost to NA Academy by 7 points. Following this, Nellai Kings beat Alathankarai Club in a fairly close battle. The last game of the day saw Kattakudi Sports bagging their first win in the challenger round. They put up a dominating show led by their star performer, Marimuthu Selvam. Selvam executed one super raid and ended the game with 12 points. With Nellai Kings & Karpagam Univeristy maintaining a loss-less record, tomorrow’s game between the two will be extremely interesting.
