Matchday 31 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 witnessed some highly exciting moments as we finally have the two finalists for the big day tomorrow, YKS Final - Ahmednagar District vs Palghar District. The day started with Sangli fighting tooth and nail against Nandurbar in the Semi-final Qualifier 1. The match went to extra time and finally, Sangli enjoyed success by just a margin of two points. The Semi-final Qualifier 2 was between Palghar and Nashik which was another treat for the kabaddi fans as both the teams fought with their hearts on the line. Palghar finally won the contest as they defeated them by just 5 points. With this win, Sangli and Palghar moved to the Semifinals. Sangli, who had been good in the past few games had it unlucky as they had to face the mighty Ahmednagar who are yet to face a defeat in the tournament. This pattern continued as Ahmednagar defeated them comfortably and moved to the finals while Sangli was shown the way out of the tournament. Meanwhile, Palghar who had already played a game earlier in the day had to battle against the inform Kolhapur who were one of the favorites in the tournament. The match was intense as the game was tied at 25 points each, with five minutes remaining. However, Pratik Jadhav had other plans as he stole the game with his raiding skills and helped Palghar seal the date with Ahmednagar for the YKS finals. There is a huge anticipation between the two teams for finals as Ahmednagar is looking to finish the tournament without a single loss while the Palghar are looking to capitalize on their resurgent morale within the team with the recent manner of victories which they have tasted.
