Relegation Round’s final matchday; Matchday 28 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 witnessed victories for Dhule, Raigad, Satara, and Nashik District teams. The four contests played today were one-sided contests and multiple amazing performances were seen from the YUVA players. Let’s have a look at the top performers of the day:
Anurag Singh (Raigad District) - Coming as a Substitute Raider, Anurag scored a phenomenal Super 10 against Latur. He scored 19 raid points, just short of Thunder 20, which included 18 touchpoints and a bonus point. He was a nightmare for Latur’s tackling front and made only 5 unsuccessful raids. The highlight of his contribution was a Super Raid and his overall Raid Strike Rate of 69.72%.
Rakesh Patil (Dhule District) – At the tackling front, Rakesh delivered an outstanding performance for Dhule. He wreaked havoc on Jalna’s raiding front as he scored 8 tackle points. Delivering this High-5 performance, he made only 2 unsuccessful tackles. He has scored 18 tackle points in the 7 matches he played and has been a key player for Dhule in this edition.
Onkar Pokale (Nashik District) - Displaying a Defensive Masterclass, Onkar fetched an amazing High-5 performance. He scored 7 tackle points against Nanded in the 1000th YKS match. His performance included only 3 unsuccessful tackles and he maintained a Tackle Success Rate of 70% in the contest. His form will be decisive for Nashik’s run in the Summit Round, which will commence from tomorrow.
