The last day of the Relegation Round, Matchday 27 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 witnessed the 1000th YKS match, which was won by Nashik, who defeated Nanded by a humungous margin of 37 points. The Stars of this milestone match were Pawan Bhor (17 raid points), Onkar Pokale (7 tackle points), and Ganesh Gite (6 tackle points), who helped Nashik win the contest comfortably and etched their names in this milestone YKS contest. The kabaddi fans were extremely enthusiastic to witness this electrifying encounter in the arena. The final four matches of the Relegation Round were one-sided contests, where Dhule, Raigad, Satara, and Nashik District teams defeated Jalna, Latur, Dharashiv, and Nanded District teams by comfortable margins. Nashik District and Raigad District qualify for the Summit Round and will join the 8 Promotion Round teams for the final phase of this edition.
From tomorrow, the penultimate round, the Summit Round will commence, where the final 10 teams will compete against each other in a typical knockout format to get their hands on the glorious YKS trophy. Tomorrow, the journey of the two teams will be terminated and four matches will be played tomorrow in the Summit Round;
