Matchday 24 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 saw some close nail-biting finishes in the Relegation Round. The race for the top two spots has intensified as Raigad, Nashik, and Dhule are separated by a point each. On the other hand, while Latur managed to snatch a victory, Satara and Dharashiv have yet to open their account. There were multiple fantastic performances throughout the day in the YKS arena. Pawan Bhor (Nashik) - The best performer of the day; Pawan Bor delivered a thrilling raiding performance to mesmerize the fans. With his lethal kabaddi skills, Pawan fetched 13 raid points, which included 12 touchpoints and a bonus point. He played a crucial role in a tight contest against Dhule. He helped his side reach the second spot in the table after their thrilling one-point win.
Prashant Jadhav (Raigad) – Prashant played an important role in Raigad’s victory against Jalna. His raiding performance was decisive in consolidating a firm grip as he scored 12 raid points which consisted of 10 touch points and 2 bonus points, with three unsuccessful attempts at the raiding front. He stole the show with his raiding skills and continues to give hope to the Raigad fans for their qualification since they are at the top of the table.
Shubham Chandmare (Nanded) - An amazing all-around performance from Shubham has led to a much-needed victory for Nanded. He fetched 2 raid points and 6 tackle points (High 5) against Satara, which helped in securing a victory for Nanded by a margin of just 3 points. He made 3 failed tackles and not a single unsuccessful raid in the contest. His form will be crucial for deciding Nanded’s qualification to the Summit Round.
