The Promotion Round of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 witnessed its fourth day. The day witnessed victories for Palghar, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, and Ahmednagar District teams. Some tremendous performances were seen in the arena today. Abhishek Gunge (Sangli District) - An outstanding raiding performance was delivered by Abhishek, who missed his Thunder 20 by just a point. He scored 15 touchpoints and 4 bonus points, which included a Super Raid and 5 unsuccessful raids. His heroic contribution went in vain for Sangli against the high-flying Ahmednagar as they lost by 25 points.
Ashish Yadav (Ahmednagar District) - The star of Ahmednagar in the previous match, Ashish fetched 16 raid points and two tackle points against Sangli, to establish his throne in the YKS arena. His efficiency at the raiding front can be evaluated by his striking efficiency, as 13 points were touchpoints with only not even a single unsuccessful raid. He has consistently come up in the top 3 list despite having other star players, which is noteworthy and appreciable.
Abhinay Singh (Palghar District) – An in-form All-Rounder, Abhinay Singh, contributed to the raiding front with 4 raid points, which included 3 touchpoints and one bonus point. He bagged 6 tackle points all coming through Super Tackles. He displayed these performances after coming onto the mat as a substitute and changed the course of the game.
