Palghar’s impact substitutes turned the game to their side as Pratik Jadhav and Abhinay Singh, scored 23 points together at the raiding front and demolished Mumbai’s hopes of a win. This was followed by a close contest between Kolhapur and Nandurbar as the scores ended 29-25 in favor of the latter. Sourabh Fagare (10 points) and Omkar Patil (8 points) were the stars of the contest. The next game was a battle between Ratnagiri and Beed, where Amarsing Kashyap’s heroics led Ratnagiri to their second win to stay among the top four positions currently. In the last match of the day, Ahmednagar thrashed Sangli by a 25-point margin and placed themselves at the top of the points table. Ashish Yadav and Prafull Zaware scored 18 and 15 points respectively to hand their team their eleventh successive win of this edition.
