Matchday 15 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 witnessed the first day of the highly anticipated Promotion Round. The show was stolen by the mighty Raiders who were on a roll. The day witnessed victories for Ahmednagar, Kolhapur, Palghar, and Sangli District teams, who defeated Nandurbar, Ratnagiri, Beed, and Mumbai Shahar respectively. A notable mention is Raj Acharya, who scored this season's first 30 raid points in a match for Mumbai Shahar. It was a great Thunder 20 performance by Raj, however, this went in vain as Sangli managed to win with a combined team performance. Prafull Zaware started from where he had left, scoring a Super 10 and leading Ahmednagar to a victory. Kolhapur and Ratnagiri had a close game as the former ended up winning by just seven points. Palghar managed to win the match against Beed, thanks to Yash Nimbalkar who scored a Super 10. The Promotion Round was worth the wait as the eager kabaddi fans were not disappointed with today’s performances in the YKS arena.
