Matchday 14 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 saw the fight for the top four between Nashik and Sangli. Three close contests were witnessed today on the final day of Pool B, where Sangli, Nandurbar, and Latur emerged victorious. A few key performers today impressed the arena with their play. Chandrakant Jagtap (Kolhapur District) - Chandrakant displayed his raiding skills in the arena, as he scored a Super 10 against Dharashiv and helped his team to have a classy finish and top in Pool B before heading to the promotion round. He scored 14 touchpoints and 2 bonus points with just 1 unsuccessful attempt to fetch a point. This is his first Super 10 of this edition.
Saiprasad Patil (Kolhapur District) - The Dangerous Defender was also responsible for helping his side gain a massive win. His mindblowing 8 tackle points, with just one unsuccessful attempt, have shown us his importance to his side. So far, he has scored 21 tackle points and is the fifth-highest-scoring defender this season. He was the backbone of Kolhapur’s tackling unit in today’s contest against Dharashiv.
Pawan Bhor (Nashik District) – The talented young lad gave everything for his side to help them qualify for the Promotion Round, but couldn't cross the line. He once again scored a Super 10 which consisted of 12 touch points and 3 bonus points including a Super Raid. This was his fourth Super 10 in his seven played matches so far. He averages 10.2 points per match and will be looking to help his side survive the Relegation Round.
