The Survival Round (Pool B) of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 commenced today. The day witnessed victories for Kolhapur, Nandurbar, Palghar, and Latur District teams. Some tremendous performances were seen in the arena today. Nilesh Vhare (Dharashiv District) - An outstanding raiding performance was delivered by Nilesh, who scored a Super 10 against Latur, and missed his Thunder 20 by just a point. He scored 14 touch points and 5 bonus points, which includes a Super Raid and 3 unsuccessful raids. His heroic contribution almost registered a win for Dharashiv in their debut match. He was equally supported by Jagdish Kale, who scored 10 points.
Pradip Agankire (Latur District) - The star of Latur’s opening match, Pradip fetched 16 raid points and a tackle points against Dharashiv, to commence his team’s campaign with a win. His commitment at the raiding front can be evaluated by his striking efficiency, as all 16 points were touchpoints with only one unsuccessful raid. He will be the one to watch-out for in the arena because of his average scoring rate of 6.09 points per game.
Tejas Raut (Nandurbar District) – An in-form All-Rounder for Nandurbar, Tejas Raut, contributed at the raiding front with 13 raid points. His performance includes 9 touch points, 4 bonus points, and a Super Raid. He made only one unsuccessful attempt against Sangli, and helped his team to register a win by a margin of 5 points.
