The first matchday of the Survival Round of Pool B, Matchday 8 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 started with a thrilling encounter between Nashik and Kolhapur, where Sourabh Fagare (13 points) and Omkar Patil (11 points) led Kolhapur to win the game by a margin of 4 points. This was followed by Nandurbar’s victory, who defeated Sangli by 5 points. Courtesy to a tremendous raiding performance by Tejas Raut, who scored 13 raid points and ensured that Nandurbar started their campaign with a win. In the next match, Palghar defeated the season debutants, Satara, by 20 points to make a positive start to this edition. Yash Nimbalkar (10 raid points) and Yogesh Morase (5 tackle points) provided a solid start to Palghar. In the final match of the day, Latur defeated one more debutant team, Dharashiv by a margin of 4 points. The star of their victory was Pradip Agankire, who scored 17 points. For Dharashiv, Nilesh Vhare (19 raid points) scored a Super 10 and Jagdish Kale (10 points) scored a High-5 by contributing at both the fronts, but this was not enough to bring Dharashiv a victory in their debut match.
