Matchday 2 of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024 saw four thrilling battles in the Pool A of the Survival Round. Ahmednagar and Beed District teams continue with their winning ways, while Ratnagiri and Mumbai Shahar registered their first win of the edition. Let’s have a look at the Top 3 Performers of the day:
Abhishek Shinde (Ratnagiri District) - Abhishek Shinde was the backbone of Ratnagiri’s team in today’s contest against Dhule. He mesmerized the YUVA arena with his lethal kabaddi skills, as he fetched 16 raid points, which includes 14 touch points and 2 bonus points. He made 2 Super Raids and made an effective tackle to score his only tackle point in the game.
Akshay Patil (Dhule District) – A top-class raiding performance was witnessed in the YKS arena from Akshay, but this wasn’t sufficient to seal the contest in his team’s favor. He scored a Super-10 against Ratnagiri by scoring 15 touch points and a bonus point. He made 5 unsuccessful raids and 3 failed tackles in the contest. His form will be crucial for Dhule’s journey in this edition.
- Abhishek Pawar (Ahmednagar) - Contributing at the tackling front; Abhishek Pawar scored a High-5 against Raigad. He scored 6 tackle points and made only 2 unsuccessful attempts. He was equally supported by Sambhaji Wabale (6 points and a Green Card), who also scored a High-5. Abhishek, Sambhaji, along with Saurav Maid, will boost the tackling front of Ahmednagar.
