The Yuva Kabaddi Series is back in the city of Pune for its third edition of 2024. The YKS arena was honoroued to have esteemed guests in the opening ceremony of Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Men’s) Inter District Youth League 2024, which is set to commence from tomorrow; March 05 to April 06, 2024, in the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune, Maharashtra. Sanjay Bansode (Sports Minister, Government of Maharashtra), Amarsinha Pandit (Vice-President, Maharashtra Kabaddi State Association), Rupalitai Chakonkar (Chairperson: State Women’s Commission; Chairperson: Krantijyot Mahila Pratishthan), and Rajesh Deshmukh (Krida Aayukt) grazed the arena with their presence. The day also witnessed a Women’s Exhibition Match between Prakash Tatya Balwadkar Sports Foundation and Dr. Patangrao Kadam Mahila Kabaddi Sangh, where the former secured a tremendous victory by a margin of 35 points. Harsha Shetty and Ankita Pisal were the top-performers of the day and fetched 14 and 11 points respectively.
A total of 16 teams will be participating in this edition, which will be divided into two pools (Pool A and Pool B) at the commencement of the edition. This edition will be played across four rounds; Survival Round, Promotion Round, Relegation Round, and Summit Round. From tomorrow, the Pool A teams will be in action and 4 matches will be played.
