It feels as though PRIST University can do no wrong at the Velammal Yuva Kabaddi Series Tamil Nadu Clubs 2024. On day 26, PRIST University beat Karpagam University with a score of 48-30. With 6 all-outs, 17 tackles, and 24 raid points, PRIST University left Karpagam almost helpless. Stuwart Singh led these ruthless efforts on the attacking end, while S Sasikumar dominated on the defensive end. This dominating win helped PRIST surpass Vels University and top the points table. 


Following this match, KR Sports finally broke their losing streak and emerged victorious against PK Sports (40-34). It was a breath of fresh air as KR Sports dominated on all ends of the floor and even won the toss. They saw the likes of Ganganath, Karthi, and Manimannan rise to the occasion. Their team effort overshadowed PK Sports’ Prabagaran Gopal’s 17-point performance. 


High scores and winning by a big margin seemed like the theme for the day, as in the third match, Nellai Kings beat Samy Academy with a score of 41-22. With this win, Nellai Kings climbed to third place in the points table. Their 21 raid points, 10 tackles, and 6 all-out points overwhelmed Samy Academy, who are in dire need of a win to secure a spot in the top 10. 


The day ended with NA Academy’s win over AMKC Gobi. From the flip of the coin at toss time, NA Academy seemed unstoppable. They secured a total of 40 points against AMKC Gobi’s 25-point effort. M Dhanasekar, Guhan, and Deepak emerged as NA Academy’s star players, while AMKC Gobi saw a spark of hope in Gokul Raj’s 9-point display.
