Struggles for KR Sports see no end after they faced their second consecutive defeat on Day 25 of the series. They sit in last place on the points table after losing to SRM University with a score of 58-19. KR Sports failed to capitalize on the little momentum set by their star player Ganganath, while SRM University left no opportunity to go to waste. In this 39-point win, SRM saw the likes of K. Dharanidharan (11 points) and Jones Caleb (10 points) step up. Following this, Vels University beat Durai Singam in a narrow 5-point match. Much like their loss yesterday, Durai Singam fought till the very end, but their performance, led by Jagadeesan (8 points), was simply not enough to overpower Vels University. Sathish Kannan led Vels' charge with 12 points, which helped them sit comfortably at the top of the table.
Chennai Sports beat Jayachitra Club with a score of 40-24. From the get-go, Chennai Sports completely dominated Jayachitra Club. They were lethal on the defensive end with 19 tackle points and 16 raid points. They also secured 4 all-out points, while Jayachitra failed to secure a single all-out point. This dominating display made Chennai Sports the standout team of the day.
In the final match, Kattakudi Sports beat AMKC Gobi by 24 points. Kattakudi Sports came out with all guns blazing as Marimuthu Selvam’s 15 points and B. Mohan Kumar’s 13-point display left AMKC helpless. AMKC saw sparks of hope in Manoj’s performance, but there was simply not enough to combat Kattakudi Sports’ solid attack. As they bagged a total of 31 raid points, the scoreboard read 53-29 after the final whistle.
