In the first game of the day, PRIST University bagged a dominating 13-point win over AMKC Gobi. As the scoreboard read 46-33, AMKC Gobi’s 12 unsuccessful raids and 27 unsuccessful tackles proved too costly. K Harish and Elanthendral Elancheliyan of PRIST University toyed with AMKC’s defense in a combined 21-point effort.
Samy Academy beat SRM University in a 42-35 match. SRM University’s Dharanidharan Kandasam led the team with a 12-point effort. However, he lacked support from his team, who fell to the 10-point raid of Samy Academy’s Mukeshkannan and Sidhu Sigana’s 6 tackle points. Durai Singham continued their winning streak and beat Sivagangai Warriors by 10 points (39-29).
Durai Singham’s M Sathivel (9 raid points) and Gobinath (9 tackle points) rose to the occasion and took the pressure off their star of previous wins, E David. In the last contest, Chennai Sports beat PK Sports with a score of 48-25. Noushad Ali of Chennai Sports secured 15 raid points and 1 tackle point to help his team cross the finish line. His efforts on the raid and defensive end also earned him the standout Player of the Day title.
