Karpagam University opened Day 5 of the Yuva Kabbadi Series Tamil Nadu Club 2024 undefeated. With the efforts of N Shankar, the team clinched victory over Jayachitra Club. Sadly, K Annadurai’s 14-point game didn’t do the magic as the team had to accept a disappointing defeat. Vels University stuck to their winning ways, bagging consecutive wins in the challenger round against Nellai Kings. S. Satish Kannan of VELS University emerged as one of the top performers with 13 points.
The Day followed with a nail-biting finish between Kattakudi Sports and Alathankarai Club. In this close finish, Alathankarai’s Jegan D almost gave his team a lifeline with a successful raid. However, his efforts were in vain as the clock ran out, resulting in a loss for his team. The last game of the day again had an interesting twist. NA Academy beat KR Sports by 3 points. Their winning spirit was led by M Dhanasekar’s 12 points
