Mohit Kumar, born on September 7, 2002, in the charming town of Solan, Himachal Pradesh, has embarked on an exciting journey in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a family of garments shopkeepers, with an elder brother and a younger sister, Mohit's early life was filled with the warmth and camaraderie of family. It was at the young age of sixteen that he discovered his passion for kabaddi, inspired by observing others play. Training under the guidance of coach Sandeep Sharma at Krishna Academy in Bilaspur, Mohit has honed his skills over the last four years. As an all-rounder, he showcases exceptional versatility, primarily shining as a right raider and corner defender. Mohit's favorite techniques, particularly his best skill, the thigh hold, combined with his unique surprising hold, demonstrate his creativity on the mat. His experience includes participating in the Yuva Kabaddi Series and competing at the national level, specifically in Circle National Kabaddi and Himachal National events. Looking ahead, Mohit aspires to represent India on the kabaddi field, and with his dedication and talent, there’s no doubt he is on the right path.
