Balraj Singh M, born on September 20, 2002, in Anantpur, Punjab, is a rising star in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a supportive family with a police officer father, Manindar Singh, and a dedicated homemaker mother, Harjeetkaor, Balraj found his passion for kabaddi at a young age. He started playing in school when he was just 14, quickly developing his skills and a love for the game. Balraj proudly plays as a Right Raider, showcasing his talent in events like the YKS Monsoon Edition and the Senior National Championship. Under the guidance of coach Manpreet Singh at the YPS Club, he has honed his best skill: the running hand touch. Inspired by his favorite player, Ajay Thakur, Balraj admires Thakur's proficiency in the same skill, hoping to emulate that excellence on the mat. Despite being busy with his undergraduate studies in a Third Year Bachelor of Arts course, Balraj's heart lies in kabaddi. One of his career highlights was scoring crucial points during a tense match in Ranchi, leading his team to victory. His aspiration is clear: he aims to represent a team in the Pro Kabaddi League and fulfill his dreams. Balraj's journey is just beginning, and with determination and hard work, he’s bound for great heights in the sport he loves.
