Piyush Choubisa

Piyush Choubisa, born on January 13, 2004, in the vibrant community of Maninagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has always carried the warmth of his roots with him. Growing up in a nurturing household, he was inspired by his father, Mukesh, a hardworking farmer, and his mother, Kapila, a loving homemaker. Today, while residing in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Piyush embraces new opportunities but never forgets where he came from. His journey into kabaddi began at the age of 17 when he first stepped onto the field for school tournaments. The thrill of the game ignited his passion, leading him to train under the astute guidance of his coach, Jhalam Chand Ji Jain, since 2020. As a Right Cover Defender, Piyush has mastered essential skills like blocking and cover chaining, often admiring the breathtaking jumps of his favorite player, Pawan Sehrawat. Currently studying in his Second Year of an undergraduate program, Piyush successfully balances his academics and athletic pursuits. With aspirations to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League and to represent India on international platforms, his determination shines bright. As he continues his kabaddi journey, Piyush is ready to leave a mark and inspire others along the way.
